Bella and the big bed

So, we finally did it, Isabella has officially been in her big girl bed for 2 nights and it has been great! She has not even tried to get out and she sleeps better than in her crib! What was I thinking waiting so long! I don't have anything for the walls yet, or a lamp, etc. but here is the general idea. Unfortunatly, I loved this bedding, but I know I willl be kicking myself for getting a toddler, and my sweet one at that, white based bedding. At least it is washable, right? What I will do in the name of cuteness :) You can't tell, but all of the stripes are different grosgrain ribbons sewed on.

So this is Bella when she first saw it all set up. She grabbed her Mr. Bear and the Bible and started reading to him...it was the sweetest thing in the whole world!

Nd now for all of you who are entertained by my overly active toddler:

She streaked out the door on Wed to go play. Granted, it was 70 degrees, but for some reason, she LOVES to be naked! I have had several occasions when people keep her for me they have told me they could not keep her clothed. I say if you can keep her in undies, you are doing great! We are potty training and up to several potty trips a day, in resturaunts, etc. Her teachers at school laugh b/c everytime she goes potty at school as she sits on her glorious throne she says "you want to take my picture?" Guess I have snapped one too many of her on the potty. It is so funny b/c she always wants a book to read as she sits and a stool to prop her feet on...quite the princess. She keeps us laughing non stop! She has become quite the con artist in her negotiations. For example, she wanted some cheetos at Kevin's mom's house the other day and she said "minnie, can I have some cheetos?" and Karen said, you have had enough. Bella said, "Oh but Minnie, you are so beautiful" as she patted her and wooed her. She is such a stinker! Anyway, We will keep you updated on her round abouts! Until the next Bella adventure!
