Less than 9 weeks to go!

Hey everyone! So much has happened in the past few weeks I don't even know where to start so I will only highlight. I went to TN for a visit end of July / first of Aug. This was my "last trip" pre-Mary Katelyn but it was a crazy one! My grandfather (dad's dad) is 93 and has been in excellent condition-driving, goes to the gym 3 days a week, does it all on his own, etc. Well, before I got to TN he took a turn for the worst and was in the hospital. Come to find out he is infected with Asbestass (sp?) from all of his years of plant management. So wierd but has caused his health to dramatically decrease over the past several weeks. So, I spent a lot of my trip in the hospital with him. I was so thankful that I was able to be there. It is so hard to be away from family in times like this. They lost my luggage that week and it was EXTREMELY stressful although I tried to not let it bother me. I wore the same thing everyday-not a big deal. But Bella's blankies and Mr Bear was in there, my Prada handbag (last connection to my Neiman's days but I was willing to part with it), almost ALL of my maternity clothes (replacable) but the biggie was ALL of my work files were in there that I did not have a backup to...yikes! But thankfully the Lord helpedit to reappear after 6 days of stressing...once agian, reminder to depned on Him : )

When I got home I went for my 28 week appt and I was telling the Dr how this time Mary Katelyn felt so much lower and I had Braxton Hicks some already. She checked me just in case, thankfully! I was already dialated to a 1 and 50% effaced. So, I have been put on modified bedrest this month...of coarse my busiest season of recruiting for church. I have to go in weekly to get checked and tested for an enzyme that is present to indicate if I will deliver within 2 weeks of the test. not easy to take it easy when you work, have a toddler and family to care for and need to take care of the baby on the way. So, Kev and I prayed that my body would reverse all of its progression. God was faithful and I went in this past week and had gone in reverse on my dialating...who knew you could do that! Thank you Lord!!!

So, now I am trying to stay down as much as possible, but I do not behave as I should. Kevin has been so amazing! I am sure many of you feel the same but there is that overwhelming feeling of the Lord's hand in our marriage. I cannot explain what a gift my precious husband is to me and how he is my perfect soulmate. I am SO thankful that the Lord orchestrates these things when we allow Him to. He knows exactly who we need. Kevin has been doing EVERYTHING around the house-laundry, dishes, dinner, Bella's needs, you name it! I feel like will never be able to describe my thanks to him. I only pray that the Lord heaps blessings all over him for his precious servant heart!

As for little Miss thang Bella, she continues to light up our life and fill it with laughter. She keeps us on our toes and is beginning to SOMEWHAT mellow out. She talks non stop and is quite busy, still above average on the busy scale but she is getting more managable. Her precious little soul invites everyone with us everywhere we go and is so considerate to anyone when she sees them asking if they have had a good day at school. We have accomplished tting in the potty, the other, still NO success, but it will come. She refuses to wear panties, which I do not understand, but as long as she goes, it is fine with me. I would however, appreciate the money saving of washable underware. The other day she was saying something and just hit her leg laughing and said, "I just crack myself up!" Such a little mess.

As for Mary Katelyn, her bedding is done (see pic) but I still have to put the nursery together. Here is a pic for your previewing pleasure. I will let you all know how my Dr appt goes this week and if she allows me to go to Destin for Labor day....I PRAY SO!!! Until then, God bless!
